Most healthy women experience a menstrual cycle that is equal to one lunar month, or 29 days. In addition, the average length of a full term pregnancy is exactly 9 lunar months, or 38 weeks.

The moon can affect the menstrual cycle by: regulating it, triggering ovulation, affecting emotions and affecting behavior.

The appearance of the moon changes each day depending on how it orbits the earth and where it is positioned in regards to the sun. It takes 28 days to go through one entire cycle.

The lunar fertility theory implies that a woman is most fertile during the same lunar phase as the day she was born.

Using this premise, a specially trained astrologers can pinpoint the time and date at which an individual woman is most fertile each month

Using the lunar cycle to increase your chances of getting pregnant is pretty simple. Basically it works like this: if you were born 3 days before a full moon, then you will be most fertile 3 days before each full moon.

The first step is determining your natal age. To do this you will need to know the time, date and place of your birth.

Let’s assume that you were born when the angle between the sun and the moon was 60 degrees, or about 5 days after the crescent or new moon. This will make your most fertile time about 5 days after each new moon.

Of course fertility can be experienced for a brief time before and after this day. All you need to know is your natal angle (for example 60 deg.), when it occurs in the lunar month (for example, 5 days after a new moon) and on which dates this recurs each calendar month.
